Meet Angela Blackman

Meet Angela Blackman, Special Events Coordinator at Talk of the Town. We are thrilled to be celebrating Angela’s one year anniversary with our team. It seems like just yesterday she joined our family and we told her how much fun she’d be having working with our clients. A year later, Angela says the camaraderie she feels among all of us at Talk of the Town has been something she likes best about working with us. She also loves meeting new people who become clients and seeing their faces when they know their event “is well taken care of.”

When asked what she recommends those planning event do to ensure it’s memorable and perfect, she is quick to say that developing a “plan of attack” is key. Angela believes that having an organized approach to an event ensures that every detail is worked out perfectly and that having an open line of communication with her clients is critical to making everyone feel at ease. And, she’s always making sure that clients pick the best menu possible, which, for Angela, means making sure that the dessert is a top priority!

Chris Archer says about Angela, “She has proven herself to be organized and have the people skills that are required to be a great Event Coordinator. Her clients are always happy and that makes Angela a star to us!”

In her spare time, Angela enjoys swimming every chance she gets – especially in the ocean!
